Understanding Your God-Given Design: A Conversation with Caleb Matthews

Some conversations don’t just inspire — they realign you. That’s exactly what happened in my interview with Caleb Matthews, founder of The SeeLink and a global voice on spiritual clarity, dreams, and purpose. Caleb has spent over 20 years speaking across nations, ministering at New Age festivals, Bible colleges, churches, conferences, and online platforms — all with one mission: to help people recognize the “DNA of their design.”

A Childhood Marked by God’s Voice

Caleb’s story begins at six years old, when God started speaking to him through dreams. Raised in a homeschooling family that prioritized spiritual sensitivity, he grew up learning how to interpret dreams and discern God’s voice long before most kids were learning multiplication tables.

He talks about how one-third of Scripture involves dreams, visions, or supernatural encounters — a powerful reminder that God still speaks through this realm today.

From Homeschooling to Africa

At 18, Caleb traveled to Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, and Tanzania with his family. With no organizational backing, they funded their missionary work themselves and stepped into ministry among some of the world’s most unreached communities.

It was there that Caleb discovered his gift for preaching and spiritual discernment. His stories from open-air crusades, radio ministry, and meeting entire villages who had never met Westerners are eye-opening, humbling, and powerful.

Dream Interpretation and Reaching the Unreached

One of the most surprising parts of Caleb’s testimony is his ministry in New Age environments—from Salem’s Haunted Happenings to international spiritual festivals. There, he and his team would set up “spiritual reading booths” to interpret dreams and speak truth through the power of the Holy Spirit.

Caleb emphasizes that Jesus often spoke in parables because parables open the door for spiritual hunger. It’s a reminder that we don’t need to lead with “church language” to lead people toward Christ.

The Three-Part Framework: Construct. Conform. Contract.

Caleb shares a powerful blueprint for stepping back into alignment with God:

  1. Construct — Understand the tools God placed in your hands, not the armor others try to put on you.

  2. Conform — Identify what you are conforming to: the image of Christ or the culture of Babylon.

  3. Contract — Examine the agreements you’ve made—both the healthy and unhealthy ones—and bring them before God.

This framework alone is worth saving and returning to often.

What To Do When You Feel Stuck

Caleb gives listeners permission to stop striving and instead look for the “C-links” — the divine connections in both the day and night seasons that point toward your purpose.

His advice is simple but profound:

  • Ask God to open your spiritual senses

  • Pay attention to recurring patterns, encounters, or dreams

  • Declare truth over your life

  • And remember: as long as you have breath, you have purpose
